This year is the third of our Leading Schools Fund program based on Personalising Learning. The underlying concept is based upon student self management and choice. Year 8 students are engaged in theme based units, each covering a term, titled Bodyworks, Too Hot to Handle, Imagine and When Danger Calls. These units have run for six periods each week and cover skills and concepts from across the VELS. The classes begin with an analysis of student learning styles, study skills and emotional intelligence.
